Woern To Release Major Update To Jagimo! The Social Mashup

[prMac.com] Brooklyn, New York – Woern LLC today announced a major update in the works for Jagimo! THE SOCIAL MASHUP, the addictive mobile social gaming app for iPhone. Jagimo! enables users to create mashups of words and photos with random people from around the world. The upcoming major release will add audio and video to the mix as well as new social networking features.

Jagimo! The Social Mashup is part game, part social network – a creative and unique way to mash it up with people from around the world. It’s easy to play. A user enters a topic then adds words or a picture. Then they toss it into the cloud. The Jagimo is sent to randomly chosen people. They catch it and have only 5 minutes to add their own words or photos based on your topic. When the Jagimo round ends, users can check out the resulting mashup, comment on it, and share it on Twitter and Facebook.
Woern is implementing a concept similar to Twitter’s following, but tailored for Jagimo! Users are more likely to receive tosses from people they follow, and from people who follow them. But random strangers will not be excluded from the Jagimo round. Users can ignore people as well, which excludes them from each other’s Jagimos. Erich Wood, president of Woern LLC, refers to this as “fuzzy” following and ignoring.
“Fuzzy following allows for people to group together in loose form, without hurting the randomness of Jagimo!,” says Mr. Wood. “We want people to connect with random strangers, getting a sense of how people in different places react to different topics.”
The new release will also feature new branding and an enhanced design that allows users to change the color scheme of the app.
This major update to Jagimo! will be available for free in the App Store. The current version is available now.
